Inshallah (God-willing) with this blog I hope to set goals, and see them through, sort out my thoughts and feelings, express and share my creative nature, strengthen my faith, and chronicle my journey through motherhood.

As of Saturday, June  19, 2010, I am 19 years old. My name is Dalecia. On April 10th 2010 I gave natural and drug-free birth to my amazing daughter Alice Xochitl. I named her after my late mother Alice who was more than my mother, she was my best friend. I named her Xochitl as a reflection of her heritage, she is part Mexican, and Xochitl means "flower" in Nahuatl.

I'm a brand new breastfeeding, babywearing, cloth diapering momma. I want to raise my daughter compassionately and responsibly.
